Amanda Coling open to apology but does not say for what nor from whom

Amanda Coling, the model implicated in an alleged rape some members of the men’s national football team supposedly committed, said Tuesday through her lawyer that she is “open to accepting apology from the concerned parties."

You know Miss Amanda if you don't want you family get affected with the issue you are into, maybe you just deal with this case in a discreet manner. No more followup interviews or comments or anything to make things worse. You openly showed your face to the public that seems claiming it's you involved in that rape situation. Then you don't want to divulge the real identities of the culprits?


If you have the ace, why afraid to name names? Think hard of what you are into. If you think you are telling the truth, then face the music. But if you are just being pushed to do it for the sake of making a name? You don't know what you are making of yourself.

Ms. Amanda, how do you define "rape"? if you're in California, having unprotected intercourse resulting from the use of deceit or coercion is considered statutory rape, but not so in the Philippines. Assuming that you have been raped according to the definition of the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines (carnal act through force, lack of victim's reason, or below 14 years of age), the our courts here have no jurisdiction on cases perpetrated outside its territory.

That being said, the gentlemen that you have indirectly placed under bad public opinion by means of publicity (despite your lawyer's "never specifically named, identified, or blamed anyone as liable or responsible") are considered innocent until proven guilty in court. They therefore deserve a statement from you and Weiler, or your representatives that these men have not committed rape or similar offenses, nor did you attempt to imply that they have done so.

Let's stop witch hunting by means of false accusations and start being responsible for our words on the web. Likewise, no one has the rights to accuse you without evidence. "Let virgins be virgins", as much as you may follow German culture in Germany... see nothing is wrong with that. Only your being too ambitious is evident.
